**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a Bachelors degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field to support our growing environmental remediation and industrial hygiene practice\. This includes conducting asbestos and hazardous materials surveys, Phase one and two assessments as well as other field work consisting of soil, groundwater, and air sampling; Geoprobe sampling, monitoring well installation and remediation system O&M\. The position will also include task management, data analysis, subcontractor coordination, and report writing\.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
+ Ability to work independently on assigned projects, as well as part of a collaborative team on various larger projects
+ Effectively communicate with project managers from the field and accurately and thoroughly document field tasks
+ Organized, detail oriented, with excellent communication skills
+ Excellent technical writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
+ Travel, primarily within the state of Connecticut, and to a lesser extent in New England
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
+ 0\-2 years of experience within the industry
+ Ability to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors
+ Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Previous environmental field experience
+ 40 hr\. OSHA trained
+ Connecticut Department of Public Health asbestos and lead based paint certifications
+ Construction experience
