We create implementable solutions that promote sustainable land use and enhance quality of life\. **Job Summary** Our studio seeks a Junior Designer with interest in either interior design or architectural design for our San Francisco Strategy \+ Studio\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: + Translating Interior Design direction from Project Design / Management Leads into conceptual, schematic and design development packages, and moving into the production of construction documents + Helping the team to order finishes, ordering samples, and create finish and specification sheets + Conducting research, analysis and working with a team to provide evidence based space and organizational recommendations to clients + Supporting a team to create design briefs and presentations + Create collateral for change management efforts and post occupancy work **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture from an accredited design school + Minimum 2 years of experience in an architecture and/or interior design firm with a concentration on corporate and commercial workplace interiors + Understands applications of materials and finish systems including flooring, paints, wall coverings, upholsteries, laminates, veneers and related products + Knowledge of finish systems and their local representatives + Understands design strategy and design thinking + Highly motivated, thrives in a collaborative environment and has excellent time management skills to balance several project deliverables and deadlines + Strong design sensibilities with outstanding presentation skills, both visually and verbally + Have an interest in design strategy and ethnographic research + Basic experience in Adobe Creative Suite + Experience with design documentation on AutoCAD 2010 required + Ability to make physical models + Basic experience with 3\-D computer modeling in SketchUp is required **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in Autodesk Revit and Rhino preferred + Interest in research and evidence based design + Experience in retail and/or hospitality + Graphic design and presentation skills preferred **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
