**Job Summary**
This 12 month fixed term contract role; responsible for providing support to the payroll team to ensure it is well positioned to deliver high quality services to the company\.The Payroll Officer is responsible for ensuring the completion of all payroll inputs, maintenance of related records, month end reporting requirementsare performed and completed on time\. Also to liaise with People and Performance team, co\-ordinating paperwork and answer queries in a timely manner\.The Payroll Officer is required to liaise with all levels of staffs and make sure all payroll data entries are completed and ready for checking\.
+ Maintaining pay records, associated time keeping data, leave records and related information
+ Maintaining all Kiwi Saver data, payment, queries and ensure all paperwork as require under AECOM policy and Kiwi Saver legislation are available
+ Running of weekly and monthly payroll processing
+ Liaising with People Services team to ensure paperwork is received on time for processing
+ Maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation impacting Australian and New Zealand payroll responsibilities
+ Reconciliation with month end IRD payments\.
+ Operationally, the Payroll Officer will ensure the following activities are completed:
+ All payroll and Kiwi Saver maintenance/changes are performed in accordance with payroll process procedure
+ Accuracy and consistency of data processing and integrity of data and associated applications
+ All processing deadlines are met
+ Terminations, Redundancies and HSBC EFT setup
+ Month end related process
**Minimum Requirements**
+ At least three years’ experience in a New Zealand payroll function of a large public or private sector organization with understanding of relevant legislation
+ At least three years’ experience working with a Kiwi Saver process of a large organization
+ Experience with Excel, Word and Banking applications
+ Experience in pay records, associated time keeping data, leave records and related information
+ Experience in Kiwi Saver data, Kiwi Saver legislation
+ Knowledge of relevant legislation impacting Australian and New Zealand payroll responsibilities
+ Knowledge of IRD payments
+ Client focused with effective communication skills to liaise with staff at all levels within and outside of the organisation

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience using Empower payroll software is desirable
