**Job Summary** The metropolitan Washington office of AECOM is searching for an Interior Architect / Workplace Practice Leader to develop and lead an interior design studio focusing on workplace design for corporate, commercial, and government clients\.
Responsibilities will include:
+ Business development
+ Preparation of qualifications and financial proposals
+ Design leadership, quality control, and management of workplace interiors staff
**Minimum Requirements** The minimum requirements for the Interior Architect / Workplace Practice Leader are as follows:
+ Degree from an accredited school of architecture
+ Minimum 15 years of experience
+ Work history must include evidence of strong design skills and responsibility for coordination and management of large scale corporate, commercial and government workplace design
+ Registered to practice as an interior design professional and architect
**Preferred Qualifications** Qualifications that would be helpful are:
+ Good verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to work well in small groups
+ Good writing skills, ability to respond to written requests for proposals
+ Proven design leadership
