Minimum Requirements: Associates degree or vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 7 years of construction experience or equivalent. Solid understanding of construction practices; specifically in structural steel erection. Certified Welding Inspector required.
Ability to read, interpret construction drawings/specifications, applicable building codes related to assigned projects desired. Strong computer skills/knowledge of all MS Office.
May be required to work odd shift. Travel may be required.
Position may require working at heights and climbing numerous flights of stairs.
Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. US citizenship required for unescorted access to assigned work area(s). Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check w/Inquiries
These positions will last through the end of the project.

Job Description: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain a daily log of construction projects.
2. Documentation of all project activities.
3. Conduct pre-activity coordination meetings for various activities such as outages/building impacts and assist in the coordination of various project activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Review for compliance installed work conforms to the contract, specifications, drawings/plans, special provisions, and code.
5. Review and analyze contractor construction schedules and pay applications to ensure percent complete accuracy.
6. Participate and provide feedback for feasibility studies, design reviews, pre-construction planning, regularly scheduled project status meetings and punchlist/closeout activities.
7. General understanding of the project delivery process and interaction between disciplines within the project team and will work closely with customer and their assigned responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. May be required to lift items weighing 15-25 pounds and occasionally in excess of 40 pounds.
