Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, Business Management, or Education. 2. Must have management experience in a Fixed Wing Flight Training program including primary through advanced qualification phases, associated academic courses, military flight training and military contracts. 3. Must have experience with the operation of a military flight training base and military contract administration. 4. Must have logged at least 2500 hours of flight time including at least 2000 hours as a flight instructor, and 100 hours of airplane multiengine instructor hours. 5. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. 6. Applicant must be able to obtain a Government issued Computer Access Card (after hire). IMPORTANT: Applicants for employment are subject to Government approval. Job Description: We are currently accepting resumes for the position of Program Manager / Alternate Program Manager. This is a contingent position based on the expected contract award. This work will be performed in support of the Fixed Wing Flight Training (FWFT), Flight Training Support, and Flight Training Service Support for aircrew personnel contract for the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence at Fort Rucker, Alabama. This position is contingent upon contract award. Objectives - To provide the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence the following: - Flight Training and flight training support to execute the US Army's Fixed Wing Flight Training Program. - Balanced training for all student pilots by preparing them for the field in "Go to War" aircraft. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following: 1. Ensure the execution and overall success of the USAACE Fixed Wing Flight Training program. 2. Act with full authority for the contractor on all contract matters, to include financial commitment through the signing of contract modifications or any contract negotiations. 3. Be available to meet on the installation with Government personnel designated by the Contracting Officer to discuss problem areas. EOE M/F/Disability/Veteran
