More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** This position will support planning, environmental, entitlements, and permitting services provided by the Environmental Group in our Los Angeles, CA Office\. We are seeking an entry\-level staff professional to join our environmental planning group with a team spirit and can\-do attitude to assist on projects in a multi\-task environment\. The ideal candidate is a junior\-level planner that can function successfully and efficiently under the direction of a project manager\. The qualified candidate is expected to support several senior project managers in this group with primary focus on CEQA and NEPA project implementation\. Duties will include, but not be limited to: + Conduct research and analysis + Write planning and environmental review document sections + Assist with CEQA and NEPA environmental and land use permitting activities \(e\.g\., agency coordination, permit applications, etc\.\) + Assist with project management activities \(e\.g\., coordination with other technical team members, review of internal draft materials prepared by others to ensure quality and consistency, tracking of project status, internal and client communications, etc\.\) + Coordinate/oversee the preparation of graphics and document production + Assist with on\-going marketing activities \(e\.g\., tracking upcoming opportunities, assisting with proposal preparation, etc\.\) **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree in Urban/Regional Planning, Environmental Sciences, Architecture, Geography and/or related fields + Minimum one year experience + Demonstrated experience preparing or contributing to the preparation of planning documents, environmental documents under CEQA and NEPA and understanding of all applicable regulations + Demonstrated ability to assist with the management preparation of planning and environmental documents, with direction, including but not limited to: coordination with internal staff, supervisor, and peers; review of internal draft report sections or technical studies; incorporation of analysis such materials into environmental review documents; preparation of project status reports, and other assistance with tracking projects + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required + Highly self\-motivated with the ability to multi\-task and perform detail oriented work + Must be focused to understand and appropriately respond to organizations business needs **Preferred Qualifications** + Familiarity with CEQA and NEPA and GIS **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
