We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Construction Project Engineer for immediate employment for the Sacramento, CA office\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below: Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends Works with construction manager to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems May have budget responsibilities Oversee the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under his/her direction on a day\-to\-day basis **Minimum Requirements** Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field Minimum one year experience in managing projects as Construction Manager Ability to organize and manage contractors on complex projects and coordinate with public agencies Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices and procedures, applicable laws and government regulations, and principles of management Demonstrate proactive problem solving skills Strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills \(written and verbal\) Experience in the public contract code arena Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures **Preferred Qualifications** Ability to use knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectives **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
