Minimum Requirements: Minimum Requirements:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent and advanced secretarial training.
2. Four years of experience as an Administrative Specialist/Assistant and/or Purchasing Clerk/Buyer.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly MS Excel with including the ability to create charts, formulas, tables, and lookups.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Two years of company experience preferred.
2. College degree or 2 years of completed college coursework directly related to procurement.
3. Experience working with subcontracts.
4. Experience working in purchasing or as a buyer in a manufacturing, maintenance, or a related service field.
5. Experience working as an administrative specialist or support role in a manufacturing, maintenance service, or corporate environment.
6. Experience with contracting.
7. Extensive demonstrated experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System such as Maximo.
8. Demonstrated experience in creating presentations and supporting meeting agendas preferred
9. Demonstrated experience creating performance metrics and utilizing Microsoft Excel (i.e. creating formulas, V-lookups, Pareto charts, Performance Measurement charting, etc) is preferred.

• Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other URS, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations.
• Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations.
• Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
• Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations.
• Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Special Requirements:
• Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
• Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Job Description: URS, an AECOM company, is seeking a Procurement Administrative Specialist in Corinth, MS! Typical work schedule is 1st shift; hours may vary based on business demand.
Duties include, but are not limited to supporting the administrative functions of the procurement team; support the purchase order requisition process; support the new vendor setups, requests for proposals, and the administrative portion of contracts and service agreements; and support/assist the development of team and vendor performance measurements and metrics.
Must demonstrate good judgment, communication skills, and experience in all applicable office software tools. Considered candidates must be very proficient Microsoft Office software, particularly Microsoft Excel (i.e. data-mine, and various look-ups). Considered candidates will also need to have strong communication and organization skills, particularly written communication.
