More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** Our AECOM Billings office is currently seeking a Mid\-Level Staff Scientist to perform soil and groundwater sampling, reporting, pipeline abandonment, excavation, and remedial system O&M for various clients throughout Montana\. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new methods for data collection, be self\-motivated, and able to follow through with challenging field and office assignments\. Field work, data collection, subcontractor supervision, and report writing make up the majority of the work assignments\. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed below: + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to work well in a project team and a fast paced environment + Oil and Gas client experience + Remedial system O&M experience + Strong technical background + Effective organizational skills + Time management skills + Proficiency in MS Office + Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects **Minimum Requirements** + BS degree in geology, biology, engineering , or related science + 3\+ years of professional experience + OSHA 40\-hour training **Preferred Qualifications** + C\-STOP training + Refinery experience + Project Management experience **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
