**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** Our AECOM Billings office is currently seeking a Mid\-Level Staff Scientist to perform soil and groundwater sampling, reporting, pipeline abandonment, excavation, and remedial system O&M for various clients throughout Montana\. The ideal candidate will be willing and able to learn new methods for data collection, be self\-motivated, and able to follow through with challenging field and office assignments\. Field work, data collection, subcontractor supervision, and report writing make up the majority of the work assignments\.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work well in a project team and a fast paced environment
+ Oil and Gas client experience
+ Remedial system O&M experience
+ Strong technical background
+ Effective organizational skills
+ Time management skills
+ Proficiency in MS Office
+ Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects
**Minimum Requirements**
+ BS degree in geology, biology, engineering , or related science
+ 3\+ years of professional experience
+ OSHA 40\-hour training
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ C\-STOP training
+ Refinery experience
+ Project Management experience
