**Job Summary**
The Jackson, MS AECOM office is currently seeking a creative, talented Bridge Engineer to join our growing Bridge Group\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Performs bridge design calculations
+ Models bridges and bridge components within industry standard software packages
+ Produces CADD drawings for bridges
+ Perform MS Office applications
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
+ Certified Engineering Intern \(EIT\) by successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam \(FE\)
+ Minimum 2\-5 years of experience in bridge design or graduate level degree specializing in bridges and/or structures
+ Individuals with Master's Degree or PhD degree in bridge or structural engineering or related engineering discipline, with no experience, may enter at this level
+ Experience with Bentley Microstation or AutoCAD
+ Proficient in MS Excel
+ Knowledge of bridge design software packages such as Bentley LEAP, CSI Bridge and MIDAS Civil
+ Knowledge of finite element modeling software for seismic modeling
+ Ability to apply previously gained knowledge and skills in designing and modeling bridge structures as well as develop CADD drawings
+ Ability to successfully work within a team as well as self\-motivate to complete tasks
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of MDOT \(Mississippi Department of Transportation\) policies
