Job Description: AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Construction Inspector for immediate employment for the Phoenix, AZ office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day inspection, quality assurance of projects with minimal supervision.
Major responsibilities will consist of the following:
• Collect information from various sources to fully understand and enforce contract documents such as standard specifications, plans, and special provisions
• Perform and check the accuracy of complex computations including those performed by other staff
• Analyze the contractor schedule to plan out the inspection of projects in their entirety
• Conduct pre-activity meetings for various construction activities such as asphaltic concrete, PCCP, striping and major structures
