Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design\. We embed sustainability principles in every design\. **Job Summary** + Maintains relationships with both internal and external customers + Conducts project meetings, and set milestones\. + Performs project scheduling in conjunction with the contractor + Ensures project quality control\. + Direct interaction and oversight of construction documents/MEP design with architect/engineer\. + Approves pay applications + Manages the closeout process + Ensures fair treatment of contractors at all times + Negotiates contract change orders + Inputs and manages project budget + Ensures that required legal documentation is filed + Establishes overall project logistics + Formulates monthly CEO/COO project progress report + Analyze the cost report to identify any work items that are eroding or going bad and work with the field construction manager to identify causes and corrective actions\. + Prepare monthly detailed payment requisitions for submission to accounting in accordance with the contract and schedule of values\. + If the schedule of values is not established in the bid, then prepare the schedule of values to best protect EATALY and establish positive cash\-flow\. + Review and approve subcontractor / supplier estimates & invoices\. + Create and design spec\. book with Architect and designer\. + Make sure that subcontractors and suppliers receive amended drawings/bulletins/RFI answers/other contract or scope changes\. + Manage the paper and electronic project documentation files including but not limited to contracts, contract documents, drawings, specifications, correspondence, changes, cost reports, and anything to do with the execution of the job\. + Provide proper notifications to owners or construction managers in accordance with the contracts for any changes in scope or cost\. **Minimum Requirements** Dipl\. Ing\. Architecture / MSc Architecture Civil Engineer 1 – 3 years’ experience required \(minimum\) • Ability to execute multiple project management efforts • Proficient in Microsoft suite • Construction project experience required • Excellent communication skills • Good understanding of MEP building systems • Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential\. • Experience / Expertise as Health and Safety Manager is an added advantage • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards\. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the federal, state and local standards MS Office English \(good\) German \(very good\) **Preferred Qualifications** Experience / Expertise as Health and Safety Manager is an added advantage **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
