**Job Summary** In this position, you will be a member of the team working on our Delaware RideShare project, which manages the statewide travel demand management \(TDM\) program\. The program aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by encouraging residents to use green, active transportation modes such as carpooling, public transportation and bicycling\.
As an administrative assistant/marketing coordinator you will provide support for the project team in key administrative and operational areas including customer service, data entry, invoicing, reporting and general office operations\. You will work in a fast\-paced environment with daily interaction with the client and outreach teams\.
Commuter Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provides administrative support to professional/technical staff
• Provides customer service through phone and email
• Handles some accounting and project financial tasks
• Directly assists Project Manager and Operations Manager with tasks
• Verifies all work products are of high quality
• Coordinates project mailings and distribution of promotional materials
• Knowledgeable and conversant on RideSahre programs and services
• Handles administrative processes such as ordering supplies and office mailings
• Some local travel to clients sites
**Minimum Requirements**
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of administrative / secretarial / clerical experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with internet search engines, electronic mail systems, spreadsheet and word processing applications
• Work well in a team environment
• Organizational and time management skills
• Listen and communicate effectively
• Demonstrate initiative
• Ability to multitask
• Adapt quickly to new tasks
