AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\.
**Job Summary** AECOM International Development is seeking an experienced International Recruiter to work in our Arlington, VA office\. The International Recruiter will recruit for primarily USAID\-funded proposals and programs\. The ideal candidate is driven, eager and able to use their creative skills to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers\. Also, the candidate should excel in solving problems and producing solutions, such as developing unique recruitment strategies\.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage complex recruitment assignments that require creative application of social media, networking and referrals to address specific recruitment challenges\.
+ Support the recruitment of long\-term and short\-term expatriates and host country national professionals for staffing new business development proposals and existing development programs\.
+ Support recruitment efforts by keeping abreast of pending opportunities, in\-house resources, and creatively sourcing candidates for specific roles\.
+ Follow standardized processes to screen and select the best candidates, ensuring compliance with all governmental and client employment specifications\.
+ Assist proposal teams in developing appropriate staffing plans according to proposal requirements including writing personnel and staffing sections \.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ At least 3 years of full life\-cycle, international development recruitment experience
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and handle many tasks simultaneously, often with inflexible tight deadlines
+ Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal clients and external candidates, both verbally and in writing
+ Must be able and willing to travel internationally on short notice
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ High\-urgency and creative candidate sourcing experience
+ Experience with compensation and employment rules and regulations under US Government\-funded activities
+ Experience living or working in a developing country
