Knowledgeable of governing supply systems/programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines.
Analytical ability to define problems, collect necessary data, establish facts, and to take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines.
Experience providing Logistic Support for Automated Work Notification (AWN) during INSURV visits
Experience working with, completing Naval Supply documentation (DD1348, DD-1149, etc)
Possess a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a government driving permit.
Position may require travel.
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Job Description: AECOM is seeking a Supply Technician with Navy Shipboard experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a part time position supporting U.S. Navy ships and land-based sites.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. As directed, performs a variety of warehousing duties, which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
2. Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
3. Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
4. Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
5. Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
6. Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
7. May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
8. Perform miscellaneous quality assurance duties including inspections, inventory process checks, inspecting and examining materials, article inspections, etc.
9. Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, and equipment.
10. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
