Minimum Requirements: USR Corp is now hiring qualified MH-60S Aircraft Worker in support of U.S. Navy aircraft maintenance operation at NAS Norfolk, Norfolk, VA
Must have a High School or GED diploma. Minimum of 2 years’ experience of organizational level aircraft maintenance, and flight line maintenance is recommended.
Military aviation maintenance training on the MH60-S preferred. Work will consist of phase maintenance, crane operator and confined space.
Ability to read with understanding all U.S. Navy publications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions manuals. Must have a valid Virginia Driver license or North Carolina Driver license (if North Carolina resident)
Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and or pass any medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks. There are periods of prolong standing, bending and stooping. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
Must be able to obtain an approved status from the Contractor Verification system which includes a 7 year background check and obtain a Security Clearance for Public Trust.

Job Description: Makes repairs to aircraft following orders of higher grade worker. Removes, cleans, reinstalls, or replaces defective parts, accessories, and components such as worn gaskets, couplings, and fittings; bad actuators, accumulators, gauges, sections of corroded fuel and oil lines, worn cable pulleys, frayed spark plug cables, and burned-out landing lights, using hand tools. Makes adjustments and settings such as cable tension and seat movement settings and adjustments. Obtains standard parts such as fuel and oil line connections and fittings, cable linkage, and spark plug cables and harnesses by referring to parts manuals and by making comparisons with samples. Services engines and aircraft components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.
