Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft Certification preferred: minimum of A+, Net+, MCP, etc.
• Ability to walk user through re-creating, troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting problems effectively
• Ability to troubleshoot physical hardware and network connectivity issues, video equipment such as projectors, DVD players, video control systems such as AMX touch panel controllers
• Must be detail oriented with excellent research skills
• Must possess basic knowledge of Wireless technologies and how to troubleshoot
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing Windows2003/2008, Windows 7, image creation
• Experience using Active Directory tools to manage and create objects.
• In depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, Symantec Ghost
• Experience providing technical support services to government clients
• Working knowledge of software application, server, and network system security
• Ability and desire to learn new skills
• Desktop support experience
• Some travel required to Customer remote locations
• Must be flexible with schedule to support client, as needed.
• All candidates must clear a NACI investigation; US Citizenship is a requirement

Job Description: URS, an AECOM company, is looking for an Assoc Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Fort Belvoir, Virginia!
Responsibilities:
• The help desk associate will be responsible for maintaining DAU workstations and supporting web/server based applications.
• The candidate will provide customer service/technical support to the federal government in level 1 helpdesk calls to level 3 hardware and software support of workstations, Windows 2003/2008 Domain Controllers, MS Exchange servers and various other application support. This may include network device management and video equipment support.
Please note: While this position is for a M-F daytime slot the individual should be able to cover night / weekend hours and work a flexible schedule occasionally to accommodate the needs of the customer.
This position may require some travel to other DAU locations.
