Requisition Number: FS103866 Interest Category: Operations & Maintenance Interest Sub Category: Technician/ Field Services Job Title : Electrical Engineering Technician Employment Category/Status: full-time Type of Position: Regular Hire Country: U.S. State: Florida City: Mayport Minimum Requirements: • Vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least 8 years of job-related experience or equivalent. • Minimum of 8 years hands-on general experience with navy HM&E electrical equipment, of which 2 years of specialized experience related to 60 HZ Power Generation, 60 HZ Power Distribution, 400 HZ Power Generation, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Motor Operated Valves, and Degaussing Systems. • Knowledge of and experience in the intermediate repair and troubleshooting of 60 HZ Power Generation, 60 HZ Power Distribution, 400 HZ Power Generation, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Motor Operated Valves, and Degaussing Systems. • Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. • Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. • Position may require travel. Job Description: AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to provide support to engineering and design staff in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, fabrication, construction and operation of diverse electronic/mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications. Essential Responsibilities: 1. Work with Port Engineers, Maintenance Mangers, Type Desk and Planning departments for various work candidates and scheduled tasks as needed. 2. Debrief ship’s Chief Engineers of conditions found and recommended solutions. 3. Assist in the repair, overhaul, planned and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of systems and components for use aboard various ships and vessels. 4.
