Position Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and planning of work control documents (WCDs) to support work at the Waste Isolation Pilot Project (WIPP) In Carlsbad, New Mexico. This includes scoping and work planning/job hazard analysis (JHA) walk-downs to define and bound activity scope, leading work planning teams in the identification and analysis of hazards and selection of controls which will Include leading/facilitating work planning/JHA team meetings, interfacing with other support organizations and subject matter experts to obtain input for development of work instructions and associated WCDs that facilitate safe and compliant conduct of work on facility systems and components.
