**About the Business Line** **Water**
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design\-build\.
**Job Summary** **Role Summary**
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our AECOM business as the Community Infrastructure Lead\- QLD &NT\. The role leads our Water, Geotechnical and Civil design teams in Brisbane and provides a broader coordination and support role to our Community infrastructure teams across Qld and the NT\. The individual will possess excellent communication, technical and leadership skills and be driven to provide outstanding levels of customer service\. The role offers and exciting opportunity to provide technical services across a broad range of end markets and a diverse range of asset classes\.
**Minimum Requirements** **Key responsibilities:**
•Actively develop and implement strategy for the whole team across QNT recognizing the diversity of the regional skills and the market nuances
•Provide visible, active, obvious and practical leadership via the local team leaders
•Promote, establish and maintain a client centric culture within the team across Qld and NT as well as the broader ANZ business\.
•Establish, maintain and encourage relationships with external AECOM partners to contribute to growth
•Ensure AECOMs full capability is brought to bids and projects
•Responsible for financial performance of the team to contribution margin level\.
•Responsible for project performance on projects delivered by the team
•Actively manage staff resource allocation across all other teams in Water & Urban Development \(WUD\) & Environment in the local market\.
•Ensure that new skills are being developed to respond to market needs
•Proactively support the initiatives of the Qld & NT business and the WUD & Environment management team
**Preferred Qualifications** The Successful candidate will have:
•Technical competency in engineering design across one or more a range of technical streams including water supply, wastewater, civil, geotechnical and stormwater\.
•Capability to support and contribute to the strategic direction of the WUD business as part of the broader AECOM business
•Proven ability to lead teams and develop and engage them to achieve broader AECOM objectives
•A thorough understanding of the infrastructure market; competitors, future opportunities
•Structured and disciplined approach to QNT business development
•Solid business development skills and the ability to build strong client relationships\.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
•Appropriate tertiary qualifications in engineering, science or a related field\.
•Relevant post graduate qualifications \(desirable\)
•>15 years relevant experience\\
•Membership with Institution of Engineers Australia \(Member or Chartered member\)
•RPEQ
