**Job Summary** **Role Summary**
As a Senior Bridges Engineer you will manage Structural projects from inception, concept design through to detailed design and documentation, ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering on time and to budget\. You will have technical, project management and site superintendence skills\. You will have a strong client focus and preferably you will already have connections with local Perth clients and stakeholders\. A significant emphasis will be placed on first\-hand knowledge of Main Roads WA standards and technical requirements with respect to Bridges design\. This role also expects a certain degree of design team management abilities\.
**Minimum Requirements** **Key Responsibilities**
+ Work in multi\-disciplinary teams and coordinate the integration of bridge designs with other disciplines\.
+ Provide leadership to a design team in development and detailed designs of major highway and railway bridge structures\. Design will always be carried out in close collaboration with design teams, including other disciplines, and will often involve client liaison\.
+ Preparation of technical reports, specifications, calculations and tender documents\.
+ Client and authority liaison for design approvals including arranging and attending meetings
+ Project management activities will include seeking opportunities from clients, submitting proposals, project and design management for transport engineering projects\.
+ Coordinate and plan the work of other team members, including engineers, MX, 12D and CAD resources
+ Provide guidance to junior members of the team\.
+ Provide direction and guidance in your field of expertise

+ Bachelor degree in Structural Engineering or similar
+ >6 years relevant professional experience in Transport engineering
+ Experience in bridge design, specifically in WA
+ CPENG qualified or working towards this\.
+ Membership of Engineers Australia
+ Consulting experience
**Ideally You will have**
+ Experience in incrementally launched bridges is desirable\.
+ Exposure to structural analysis packages such as ACES SPACEGASS, SAM/LEAP, Multiframe, Microstran,
+ Familiarity with Main Roads WA requirements is desirable\.
+ Successful track record leading small and medium sized projects
+ A working knowledge of MS Projects will be an advantage\.
+ The ability to write accurate and factual technical reports will be highly valued
