Hunt Construction Group excels because we are abundant with the right people producing the right results, every time\. **Responsibilities** : Plan, coordinate and prepare construction estimates for a variety of projects, with emphasis in the following market sectors: aviation; healthcare; hospitality; and sports\.  Interface with the design team, owner representatives and prospective subcontractors to analyze, cost data regarding project feasibility and projected budget\. Performs all functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics and code of conduct\. Essential Responsibilities/Functions 99. Provide and/or coordinate full estimating services on all size projects and contract types, including but not limited to: - Quantity surveying/takeoff - Drawing and specifications review - Systems review and life cycle analysis - Value engineering - Alternates analysis - Sustainability review 99. Provide estimates in appropriate level of detail at conceptual, schematic design, design development and construction document phases - Anticipate work required but not yet shown on the documents and accurately represent in estimate 99. Engage with subcontractor community to gain assistance with budgeting and bidding 99. Assist in creating bid packages for the work 99. Prepare bid scopes of work for each trade package 99. Lead pre\-bid meetings as required 99. Conduct post\-bid interviews and perform bid leveling of subcontractor proposals 99. Assist with review and compilation of clarifications and assumptions to accompany estimate and/or GMP submissions 99. Review all final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to final submission 99. Participate in presentations to clients 99. Provide advice, guidance, mentoring and direction to junior personnel and interns toward the achievement of their personal development goals 99. Maintain presence in professional association\(s\) \(e\.g\. ABA, ACE, ASPE, AGC, USGBC, CASHE, DBIA\) to keep abreast of industry advancements, build rapport with industry partners and maintain credentials **Minimum Requirements** + Four year construction, engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience + 10\+ years’ experience in commercial estimating and related functions + Thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts required **Preferred Qualifications** + Excellent communication, organizational, written, decision making, risk analysis and problem solving skills + Can both lead a team/estimate process and work as part of a team led by others + LEED Accreditation preferred + Ideal candidate is proficient in the following programs: - MS Office, specifically Excel - On Screen Takeoff - BlueBeam - MC2, Timberline or other estimating software We become greater by sharing in and embracing the richness of our differences\.
