• Minimum five years of practical experience in the area of project controls, including both cost and schedule control
• Or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience
• Excellent knowledge and experience using the Primavera (P6) scheduling software
• Experience or aptitude in MS Office Suite to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Other database experience and proficiency is a plus
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
• Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and follow through to achieve project results
• Ability to generate cohesive reports and present independently
• Ability to coordinate real time activities and priorities
• Effective written and oral communication skills

Job Description: AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Controls Specialist for immediate employment for the Chattanooga, TN office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below.
• Implement and maintain short, intermediate and long-range schedules in conjunction with the designated work management system
• Identify critical path activities and suggest modifications to work plans to maintain schedule and to meet or improve upon milestone dates
• Development of resource loaded schedules and perform routine assigned tasks related to preparation and application of schedule update and monitoring activities
• Analyze/prepare baseline schedule variances and management reports that identify variances in the work execution strategy and recommend solutions
• Integrate schedule/status information into schedule software and develop visually-oriented presentation aids to communicate operations/project/maintenance status
• Provide planning/scheduling support to department/project activities as directed. Log and monitor action items and change control activities in the facility schedule
• Assist in the regular review and closure of open and backlog issues assigned utilizing designated tracking system(s)
• Identify activities and issues requiring closure to satisfy customer requirements and ensure entry into designated tracking system(s)
• Data entry in various software programs including MS Office Suite
• Perform other related projects and duties as requested
