Minimum Requirements: Education/Training: High School graduate or equivalent; completion of military or vocational technical school curriculum and Associate’s degree desired. Employment category will be based on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Upon hiring, “on the job” training may be required at Indian Springs/ Creech AFB, NV; or similar location as assigned. Upon successful completion of all required training, the employee will report to assigned location.
Work Experience Field: AGE maintenance, or small equipment maintenance in a military setting, desired. Must be familiar with most types and uses of AGE equipment. Must have an electrical/mechanical background. Must be able to obtain a flight line driver’s license. Prior experience with UAVs preferred. Must be familiar with diesel engine maintenance and repair, and HVAC maintenance and repair. HVAC certification highly desired.
Special Skills: Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship. Active DOD Security Clearance highly desired. Must apply for a Secret, or higher, clearance within 30 days of hire start date. Must be able to gain/maintain the required security clearance level as a condition of continued employment.

Job Description: Essential Job Function: Supports Predator Series UAV maintenance. Supports an Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) shop in a medium to large-sized military aircraft flying organization. Insures the timely and proper performance of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE equipment and light support vehicles. Inspects, tests, and operates AGE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. Diagnoses mechanical and electrical circuitry malfunctions. Interprets drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical data.
Identifies appropriate replacement parts in TOs and technical documents and order those parts. Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and re-installs AGE accessories and components. Stencils and marks AGE as appropriate. Services equipment with fuel, oil, coolant, water, hydraulic fluid, and air as required. Operates, cleans, inspects, and services AGE tow vehicles. Maintains and documents AGE equipment and tow vehicle forms. Positions equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations. Schedules PMIs as required. Adheres to safety procedures, and follows technical orders as applicable.
