Requisition Number: FS103982 Interest Category: Business Operations/Admin/IT Interest Sub Category: Accounting/Finance Job Title : Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Employment Category/Status: full-time Type of Position: Regular Hire Country: U.S. State: Virginia City: Chantilly Minimum Requirements: Successful Candidates will possess the following: • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, preferably Finance, or Information Systems • 5+ years working in financial planning and analysis • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Cognos, Costpoint (or similar ERP system), Hyperion Planning, Essbase, TM1, PPRS The successful candidate will assume a key role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing indirect rates and budgets across a complex organization, as well as managing many of the group’s financial budgeting and planning applications. Other responsibilities include: • Assisting heavily in the development of Forward Pricing Rates • Finding and eliminating inefficiencies from the process that assigns indirect costs to projects • Providing financial support for new and ongoing departmental strategic initiatives • Coordinating short-term and long-term planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting activities • Creating and maintaining complex financial models to drive efficiency into the financial tracking and reporting process, and to promote confidence in the accuracy and value of reported data • Working with Finance, Accounting, and Business Operations to understand business needs and translate them into system improvements/enhancements • Preparing monthly/quarterly and ad hoc analysis of financial performance • Working closely with Finance and non-Finance personnel to understand the current state of the business, performance variances, and opportunities and risks to future business success • Preparing deliverables for executives in both Excel and PowerPoint Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. AECOM is actively seeking a Finance Manager to join the FP&A team supporting the company’s Management Services Group in the Washington DC metro area. This position will play a vital part in shaping the future of a $20 billion company following AECOM’s recent merger with fellow industry leader URS Corporation. Responsibilities include: • Significant experience with indirect rates and budgets, preferably with a large organization (>$1 billion) with a multi-faceted business structure • Experience in the generation of Forward Pricing Rates Packages and the corresponding auditing process • Experience with complex CAS structures • In-depth understanding of the government contracting process • High aptitude for learning and working in financial systems and processes • Ability to create and maintain complex models in Excel; understanding of advanced functions and pivot tables • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data • Strong business acumen, process management, and problem-solving skills • Outstanding oral and written communication skills • Ability to communicate complicated financial concepts in a way that both Finance and non-Finance individuals will understand • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency • A critical thinker willing to question prevailing opinions and challenge the status quo • A strong team player and contributor who will proactively seek out ways to move the organization forward and take initiative to drive process improvements • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested EOE M/F/Disability/Veteran
