Come share your passion with us\. **About the Business Line**  **Government** AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\. **Job Summary** + The Electrical Electronic System Specialist \(EESS\) shall inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, maintain, and make necessary tests on all fire alarm system equipment\. Record readings and equipment, and perform minor maintenance on UPS systems\. + Work from prints, diagrams, specification, and instructions covering emergency and scheduled repairs; as well as installation, testing, and inspection of work to be done on electrical systems + Analyze, troubleshoot, modify, install, and repair electrical equipment and circuits using prints, diagrams, and test instruments + Test, inspect, clean, repair, dismantle, adjust, replace, assemble, maintain and lubricate all manual or automatic AC and DC systems, electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, control panels, regulators, and various other electrical apparatus which include any and all fire alarm equipment + Prepare and maintain records and reports on electrical equipment, as required for maintenance programs on the basis of all information obtained through tests and preventive maintenance procedures and take corrective action, as required + Perform protective inspections during facility additions or repairs so as to insure safe and continuous operation of utilities equipment, as required + Test, calibrate, and maintain protective devices on systems + Operate machines and power tools, erect scaffolds, perform rigging, and operate motor vehicles, as required + Install conduit, piping, wiring, and apparatus for maintenance of equipment and/or substitution of existing equipment with new or old apparatus + Observe all safety rules and regulations + Responsible for submitting a material list to the Management/Lead for ordering + Notify main building control office when work being performed may impact building operations\. + Perform other job related duties, as required + Supervise other repair personnel, as required + Be able to update drawings and prints + Be able to operate and test transfer switches and small generators + Be able to operate computers + Be able to install and test data and fiber optic lines + Test fire alarm systems + Troubleshoot electrical switch gear and electrical circuits **Minimum Requirements** + Journeyman electrician license\. + Possess a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical apparatus and control circuitry maintenance + Possess a strong background in low voltage switchgear + Must be thoroughly familiar with electrical maintenance or equipment + Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions\. + A willingness to work rotational shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights, as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required + Eight years experience in the electrical trade in maintenance and/or construction required\. + High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required\. + Must be a U\.S\.
