Come share your passion with us\. **About the Business Line**  **Government** AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\. **Job Summary** Position: Pricing and Budgeting Analyst General Summary: The Pricing and Budgeting Analyst is an integral part of the proposal coordination process\. The Pricing and Budgeting Analyst prepares budgets and budget narratives\. S/he will be responsible for gathering and analyzing costs for developing and revising complex multi\-million dollar proposal budgets in accordance with client requirements, while utilizing advanced spreadsheet techniques\. The Pricing and Budgeting Analyst will also support the project coordination team with other budgeting activities\. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate with the proposal team on strategic issues involving proposal budgets; ensure that the proposal team is educated on client requirements for the cost proposals • Ensure proposals comply with AECOM corporate policy • Document all cost assumptions and certify cost data • Draft explanatory budget narrative to accompany budget in cost proposal • Create and/or modify budget spreadsheet templates in accordance with client requirements • Schedule and manage proposal budget meetings, provide costs based on proposal design, and make recommendations to the technical team to develop a competitive proposal • Review/approve work products of budget assistants on proposal teams • Manage assigned subcontractors as a part of the proposal process and perform activities including: providing budget assumptions, negotiating budgets, developing budget templates, reviewing budgets and notes, and ensuring final submissions conform to client requirements • Assist in transition of proposal budgets to project budgets for successful awards • Assist colleagues with other budget development activities such as contract/subcontract budgets, task orders and pipeline analyses and review project budgets as needed • Serve as a reviewer for budget modifications and other work products generated by program coordination/management staff • Assist with any issues related to costing and business proposal development as assigned • Develop and manage AECOM standard budget templates **Minimum Requirements** • Bachelor’s Degree and 3\-6 years relevant professional experience • Understanding of budgeting and pricing techniques with various contract types • Flexibility to assume a workload which frequently necessitates an adjustment of priorities • Ability to work and deliver under strict deadlines • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets using MS Excel • Strong interpersonal and communication skills \(written and verbal\) along with organizational skills and the ability to multi\-task • English language fluency required • Ability to travel internationally to developing countries on short notice **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience preparing cost proposals for various donors such as USAID, World Bank, and ADB • Knowledge of USAID regulations and policies \(including AIDAR and FAR regulations\) • Knowledge of a foreign language **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
