Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
• Minimum 20 years of industry-related experience, including 15 years of project management experience
• Registered Architect in OH or ability to obtain by reciprocity
• Minimum 10 years of architectural design, planning and project management experience associated with design and construction of healthcare projects of significant scope ($15M - $250M)
• Strong knowledge and ability to serve in the role as a Project Director responsible for a multi discipline team in the development of comprehensive, coordinated construction documents for small to large diverse and complex projects
• Experience in leading teams of in-house and consultant staff
• Excellent supervisory skills and ability to communicate with and motivate team members
• Must be able to supervise staff on multiple projects, provide aggressive planning, design, management, technical leadership and support to team members, verify that all work is completed as planned and scheduled in compliance with company quality assurance practices
• Completion of AECOM project management certification within six months of hire
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Innovate design solutions, collaborate on design processes, engage actively in the design process and provide oversight, provide leadership and technical insight to the design team
• Actively participate in developing strategic planning for the growth of the healthcare practice across North America as an integral part of the AECOM national healthcare practice
• Responsible for the design, technical and P&L aspects of project success
• Document client contacts, phone conversations, and decisions
• Responsible for the team management planning, organizing, controlling, reporting and leading
• Determines workload for team including short-, medium- and long-term business goals and objectives
• Maintains effective communication within the team and with clients
• Identifies, analyzes and addresses the root causes of both personnel and project issues
• Plans, coordinates, develops, and monitors projects to completion
• Establishes, promotes, and ensures quality on all projects and work performance
• Monitors performance of staff and provides mentoring and constructive feedback
• Maintains professional relations and contacts with clients, peers and competitors
• Develops competitive fee proposals and cope documentation
• Presents and explains proposals, reports, and findings to clients
