We embed sustainability principles in every design\. **Job Summary** AECOM is currently seeking a Project Manager based in our Head Office in Abu Dhabi\. Duties: + Responsible for the overall direction & management of assigned Project Management contracts\. + Establishes and builds professional relationships with Clients, other Consultants and Contractors\. + Understands and develops Client Project Brief\. + Effectively manages Client expectations\. + Owns the preparation and implementation of the Project Management Plans, Design Management Plans and Project Quality Plans in coordination with the assigned project team\. + Manages the coordination, interface and interactions with with internal disciplines and teams within AECOM and with 3rd parties in relation to Technical, Financial, Safety, Quality, Programme and other elements of a project, to ensure successful execution of the PM scope of services\. + Ensures on\-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations\. + Responsible for all Contract activities and commercial performance to meet project goals & objectives\. + Responsible for managing Safety and Quality performance of projects\. + Produces regular effective project reports to both Client and AECOM + Owns Change Management and Risk Management on the project + Ownership of invoicing and support collections minimizing DSO and working towards meeting profit, contingency and cashflow targets for the project\. **Minimum Requirements** + Act as the Company representative for all day to day Contract matters with the internal teams and the Client during the Project execution\. Understands and develops Client’s Brief\. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client, internal teams, subconsultants and contractors, managing procurement strategies and appointment of contractors\. Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the project\. + Take an active, personal role in the establishment, implementation and management of project Quality, Safety and Risk Management Systems and Procedures\. + Oversee the establishment of Package / Project specific briefs and scoping documents, contracts and procedures\. Assists the Project Director on matters that cross between interfacing elements, projects or Business Lines\. + Oversee the financial and commercial management of the project internally to achieve project targets monitoring on weekly control of deployment of resources, costs, achievement of contracted deliverables, compliance to contractual obligations, monitoring of risks and change control\. + Establish the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria\. + Works with the Project Director to develop design budgets , schedules and plans for the various elements of a project\. + Supports the Project Director in the Procurement of other Consultants and Contractors either for the delivery of the works or on behalf of the Client\. + Assist the Project Director in devising and execution of actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or schedule delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work\. + Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule\. Supports or develops recommendations and action plans to resolve issues affecting or likely to affect the successful execution of the works\. + Liaising with Technical Services and Shared services personnel for delivery of design, costs, schedules and overall project support\. + Establish regular meeting to review package status, formulate action items and follows up on close out\. + Work proactively, constructively and fairly with all parties to ensure the successful execution of the project, + Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate\. **Preferred Qualifications** + A Bachelor’s Degree in a Construction\-related subject, such as Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent\. + Professional Engineer registration is required at this level\. + Specific Project Management training & qualification and Membership of a Chartered Institution preferred\. **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
