We provide services such as program management, construction management and owner’s representation to our clients around the globe\. **Job Summary** Location: Washington, DC Metro area\. Entry level engineering position to support field and office commissioning requirements\. The candidate will interface daily with AECOM design and construction professionals with emphasis on quality assurance, commissioning and testing\. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: May include but not limited to the following: ·  Acquire project specific knowledge by reading and studying project drawings, specifications, submittals, contracts, etc\. ·  Perform construction documents reviews under the guidance of senior staff ·  Attend and contribute to project meetings relating to design, construction, commissioning, retrocommissioning ·  Record and distribute commissioning coordination meeting minutes\. ·  Perform Construction/Installation Observations ·  Evaluate equipment and building control system installations with respect to contract documents and industry standards ·  Evaluate equipment and building control system installations with respect to the construction schedule ·  Provide detailed daily construction observation reports or as required when working on a project location\. ·  Assist in the Training of Facility Operators on Mechanical Systems ·  Witness HVAC & Plumbing Startup Procedures ·  Witness/Backcheck Testing and Balancing Contractors ·  Perform Functional Test Procedures for Mechanical Systems ·  Assist in Troubleshooting Mechanical Systems/Controls ·  Position requires 50% construction site presence\. ·  25% Overnight Travel may be required\. **Minimum Requirements** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering\. Prior internship experience working with HVAC systems **Preferred Qualifications** Professional registrations required or expected in one or more of the following: Fundamental of Engineering \(FE\), Commissioning Certification, LEED accredidation\. 1\-3 years \+ commissioning experience or 10\+ years of related construction, equipment installation, startup, service, building automation, TAB, or engineering experience\.
