**Functional Responsibility**
+ As an active team member and business partner, align the Quality function with the business priorities of Operations Management, while supporting and championing participation in the URS Quality Management System \(QMS\)\.
+ Support the development of quality control protocols on new project start\-ups, provide tools, processes and procedures as outlined in the Quality Functional Charter and ensure consistency within the project\.
+ Review customer specifications & documentation, quality standards and assess against existing QMS policies & procedures to determine whether the program will perform according to the request and conform to guidelines\.
+ Working in collaboration with Operations Management, identify and communicate quality opportunities to meet or exceed project targets\.
+ Review all performance indicators for the Quality function and provide input/take action where required to ensure targets are met\.
+ Identify and implement client quality deliverables and expectations as per the Program specific Quality Management Plan
+ Remain current on jurisdicational regulations and applicable industry standards\. Communicate updates to the Quality Manager and Operations Management any new and/or revised regulations that may apply\.
+ With support from the Quality Manager, interpret and implement Quality standards, processes and procedures\.
+ Schedule, Plan, execute project audits of the QMS, generating and communicating audit results to Operations Management\.
+ Initiate Corrective Action plans to address any audit findings, communicate findings to Operations Management and work in collaboration with Operations Management to follow\-up on all Corrective Action plans to ensure closure in a timely manner\.
+ Trending and communication to Operations Management, the project specific Nonconformance Reports \(NCR’s\) and Corrective Action Reports \(CAR’s\) to ensure expected results were achieved through recommended disposition\.
+ Other duties as assigned\.
**Team Work**
+ In collaboration with Operation Management, schedule & plan the tactical quality manpower loading requirements for the region or operation, to ensure adequate project fill rates are in alignment with requirements\.
+ As a functioning team member, work with Operations Management to establish, communicate and execute on project priorities as they apply to the Divisional Strategy and Client Contract
+ Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and solutions in collaboration with Operations Management\.
+ Represent the Quality Function in Operations Management and customer meetings\.
+ Responsible for time support to Operations Management, to ensure satisfactory and timely execution of quality activities\.
**Communicaton**
+ Develop internal and external relationships to achieve a successful and cooperative working environment between all internal departments within URS, Operations Management, external customers & jurisdicational agencies\.
+ As an active team member and business partner, participate in lessons learned sessions and lead proposed changes to new projects to avoid repeat errors, mitigate risk, and reduce poor quality, rework and cost\.
+ Communicate monthly Quality Services Reports to Operations Management and Corporate Quality Function\. Attend Operations Management monthly review meetings, presenting and speaking to the work and results undertaken by the Quality function\.
**Document Administration**
+ Complete and submit monthly documents to the appropriate departments \(example: timesheets, Quality Service Report, expense reports\)
+ Review and communicate to Operations Management any required information from the internal document management system which pertains to current tasks, responsibilities and projects\.
**Job Requirements:**
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, technical and planning skills\.
+ Strong business acumen, with good operations, project or construction understanding and/or experience\.
+ Knowledge of applicable jurisdictional codes and industry standards as applicable to oilfield construction and services work\.
+ Knowledge of ISO\-9000 Quality Management System, with previous internal auditing experience\.
+ Intermediate Computer Skills, including; Microsoft Applications \(Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & Project\)
**Education:**
+ Minimum of College Diploma or Certificate Preferred\.
+ Technical certification or equivalent industry professional development from a recognized association or institute\.
+ Journeyman or Interprovincial trade certification or certified engineering technologist\.
+ Professional Designation Preferred
+ C\.E\.T\. or equivalent considered an asset, but not required\.
**Experience:**
+ Minimum of 10\+ years of experience required \[a combination of operations, quality, construction or project experience preferred\.
+ QA/QC Supervisory or Coordination experience\.
+ An equivalent combination or eduction and related experience may be considered where appropriate\.
