More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Program Management** Our specialists are responsible for the management and control of hundreds of major capital programs totaling over US$300 billion across all continents and market sectors, including transportation/infrastructure, mining and minerals, environmental, facilities, water and energy\. **Job Summary** The Project Manager will be expected to support the bid teams when preparing the fee/commercial submissions for bids and ultimately, if successful, support \(and sometimes lead\) the design manager when finalising and agreeing the project budgets The Project Manager will then support the design managers throughout the project, keep systems up to date and used as a mechanism for project reporting\. The candidate will be expected to take a leading role in terms of raising invoices as per the Contract and following up on payment thereof\. The candidate will also be expected to inform the Project Directors and/or Country Manager as soon as it is observed that a project is not following the budget and forecast and he/she will play an active role in mitigating and/or rectifying such circumstances\. The Project Manager will take the leading role with regards to the preparation of sub\-consultant agreements and making sure that the project is set up strictly in accordance with the AECOM commercial processes\. This will include supporting the Design Manager with the preparation of the Project Execution Plan\. + Support the bid team with the preparation of financial/commercial submission documents and the associated requirements \(e\.g\. bid bond applications and preparation of RFA submissions\) + Assist the Legal Counsel and the Country Manager/PCC Director with completing Contract negotiations and agreement + Support the Design Manager with the reviewing the award fee and finalising the project budget allocations\. This may include further negotiations with proposed sub\-consultants\. + Support the Design Manager with the preparation of the Project Execution Plan + Set up the project and manage the staff allocations throughout the project\. + Update the project on the system on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that the report is both accurate and comprehensive\. + Inform the accounts team and the design manager when to raise invoices and follow up to ensure that the invoices are paid in accordance with the Contractual payment terms\. + Inform the Project Director immediately if and when the project is not performing in accordance with the budget and forecast\. + Prepare and manage the project risk and issues registers **Minimum Requirements** + The candidate will have previous experience of working with financial and project management software and be conversant in project management processes and KPI’s + The candidate will have good interpersonal skills and be capable of communicating with various cultures + The candidate should thrive under pressure and be experienced in change management + The candidate must have previous experience of working within a large corporate environment and be accepting of corporate procedures + The candidate must be a well organised and methodical person and confident in managing others if the need requires\. + Experienced in using Microsoft Office suite, and be an “excellent” user of Microsoft Excel + Preference will be given to Omani Nationals **Preferred Qualifications** The successful candidate should have at least 8 years of project management and cost controls experience and ideally within a multi\-disciplinary design office\. **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
