**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our Melbourne Transport Group, supporting Project Managers \(PM’s\) and Project Directors \(PD’s\) with delivery of a variety projects\.
The Project Administrator will provide a range of project support and administrative services\. This role will provide support for activities including project tracking and financial reporting, report coordination, records management, document control, team support and arranging meetings\. This role requires a strong ability to work independently in a complex environment\. In addition, we require an organised individual who has the ability to prioritise and multi\-task with a forward thinking, proactive style\. You must be able to work under pressure and be results oriented
**Minimum Requirements** **Key Responsibilities:**
• Proactively support Project Managers with the implementation of projects with particular focus on;
• Project Planning
• Project Execution
• Project Closure
• Assisting with preparation including formatting of weekly, monthly project reports, minutes, deliverables
• Assist Project Manager’s with compilation of invoices
• Document control including registers and project filing
• Organise regular meetings
• Encourage safe practise within project team
• Provide administrative support to project leaders
• Adhoc reception support
• Administrative support to the Transport group, including bid coordination and supporting other AECOM business lines as required
**Preferred Qualifications** Ideally You Will Have:
• 3\+ years’ experience in an administration/ support services role
• Experience working for a large, multidisciplinary organisation, preferably in the engineering industry
• Professional attitude and high level of attention to detail
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic and the ability to use initiative
• Demonstrated knowledge of records and/or document management systems and processes with experience in Access and ProjectWise
• Advanced in MS Office suite including Word, Excel PowerPoint, Outlook
• Excellent client service \(both internal and external\)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously, with minimal supervision
• Strong problem skills, ability to think strategically
• Good understanding of and ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic, eager to learn and take on new tasks
