**About the Business Line** **Environment**
Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a well\-rounded, self\-motivated, mid\-level Environmental Scientist to be based in our Norfolk office\. Position is charged with winning, executing and managing environmental assessment and compliance projects; project types will include: RCRA site investigation and corrective action, soil and groundwater investigations, due diligence, stormwater, ASTM Phase I/II ESAs, state and federal environmental review processes, and other environmental assessment matters\.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the items listed below\.
+ Managing project scope, schedule, task execution, and budget\.
+ Serving as client Point of Contact and providing technical team leadership\.
+ Conducting environmental compliance and site investigations, including data collection, screening and interpretation\.
+ Report writing – providing technical content, to includetechnical analysis, recommendations, andregulatory compliance discussions\.
+ Ensuring compliance with state and federal environmental laws and regulations \(RCRA, CERCLA, NEPA, CWA, CAA, etc\.\)\.
+ Preparing RCRA Facility Investigation documents\.
+ Solving problems and making sound and timely decisions using knowledge, experience and judgment\.
+ Assisting management with market analysis and business development plans\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelors Degree or higher in geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, or other applicable natural science and 8\+ years relevant experience\.
+ Demonstrated working knowledge of and well\-versed in applicable federal and state environmental regulations \(RCRA, CERCLA, NEPA, CWA, CAA, etc\.\)\.
+ Demonstratedability to successfully manage multiple priorities\.
+ Strong business acumen and business development skills\.
+ Strong organizational skills\.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills\.
+ Proficiency with MS Office applications\.
+ High initiative and the ability to work independently\.

+ Master's degree
+ HAZWOPER 40\-Hr training
