Come share your passion with us\. **About the Business Line**  **Government** AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\. **Job Summary** AECOM has an exciting opportunity as a **MVO Fuel Technician** for our Redstone Aresnal Contract in Huntsville Alabama\. Assists in preparing daily, weekly & monthly fuel reports for the SSA, DOL, and CSOC\. Audits receipts, invoices and daily issue forms for accuracy\. Assists in preparing Monthly Bulk Petroleum Accounting Summary, Monthly Abstract of Issue of Petroleum Products, Daily Fuel, and Monthly Rollup & Innage Gage Sheet reports for the US Government to review\. Prepares and maintains functional files using the Army’s system\. Maintains administrative records and submits program status reports\. Participates in the development and updating of departmental work instructions, Statements of Work, and Project Operating Procedures\. Identifies problems and inconsistencies in existing accounting systems, accounting methods and financial management policies and procedures\. Provides recommended changes to improve the quality of work to management\. Prepare daily records and receipt invoices for turn\-in\. Uses this data in the end of the day report\. Maintains inventories, ldiesel and fuel record receipts\. May interface with designated Government Representatives and contractors to assure smooth operations and compliance with government directives, standards, and needs\. Performs all other duties as assigned\. **Minimum Requirements** + Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent is required\. + Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or through a combination of education / experience is required\. + Basic Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge is required\. + Advanced skills in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel and other related applications is required\. + A collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork is required\. + High\-level organizational and planning skills are required, so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately\. + Shall obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance, if required\. + Must possess all requisite state/federal driving licenses requirements to include CDL, if required\. + Must have all fuel handling certifications required by state and federal organizations\. **Preferred Qualifications** N/A **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
