**Job Summary** AECOM has an exciting opportunity in its Corporate Communications department within the Internal Communications team\. We are looking for a Human Resources Communications Specialist who will be responsible for closely collaborating with the Internal Communications team and Human Resources Business Partners to assist in the designing, writing, implementing and measuring of a variety of human resources communications programs and campaigns, including benefits, performance and rewards, talent management, diversity and inclusion, to name just a few\. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, this individual will work with a cross\-functional team to support the execution of global human resources programs, as well as assist with the general creation and dissemination of internal communications as needed\.
Responsibilities:
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Writing, editing and updating unique and routine HR communications in a variety of media including print, web, digital and video formats
• Developing and program managing of internal communications campaigns and initiatives, including strategic and tactical planning, in partnership with team members
• Creating messages for HR initiatives, topics, policies and issues for such campaigns as benefits open enrollment, wellness, retirement, employee stock purchase plan, recruitment, diversity and inclusion, performance management and leadership development
• Incorporating HR messages into appropriate enterprise\-wide communications channels
• Participating in cross\-functional team meetings in order to assist in the creation of communications plans, strategies and production coordination, where needed
• Ensuring all communications meet internally\-set quality and consistency standards
• Posting and maintaining communications and global HR content on the company intranet, myAECOM, via a content management system
• Interfacing with HR team members and external vendor contacts as assigned to ensure timely follow\-up and follow\-through of deliverables based on production schedules
Key Competencies:
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills, including copyediting and familiarity with AP style
• Ability to synthesize complex materials and to craft creative, persuasive messaging for a global audience on a myriad of communications and HR topics
• Appropriate communications and HR subject matter knowledge to effectively plan and deliver targeted communications materials
• Superior teamwork and collaborative skills with an intuitive ability to build relationships and work effectively at all levels of the global organization and well as with external constituencies
• Ability to coordinate, manage and multi\-task on project priorities in a fast\-paced, deadline\-driven work environment
• Agile, go\-getter capable of assuming responsibility for several tasks and/or projects with minimal supervision
**Minimum Requirements** Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing or related discipline
• 3\-5 years’ professional and progressive communications or HR communications experience preferred, especially in a global company
• Sound critical thinking and judgement skills, with a flair for the creative aspects of the work
• Strong project management and organizational skills to manage simultaneous projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Demonstrated experience in content management systems \(Sharepoint, Salesforce, Vignette, etc\.\)
• High energy, enthusiastic team\-player
**Preferred Qualifications** • Proven ability with Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign software products a plus but not required
• Bilingualism an asset \(French, Spanish\)
