Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\.
**Job Summary**
AECOM is currently seeking a CADD Drafter I for our office in Greenville, SC\. The candidates will provide support for our Environment Business Line\. The candidate will provide CADD services using AutoDesk suite of products \(AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map/Civil\) to support a broad array of environmental permitting and monitoring projects\. Duties include creating new CAD files and modifying existing files based on project needs\. Knowledge of CAD fundamentals and techniques related to data manipulation, generating/scaling/modifying viewports, creating and editing features and attributes, applying/modifying dimensioning, and applying/editing/scaling text in proportion to both model space and paper space\. Applicants need understanding of universal coordinate systems, projections and coordinate conversions\. Candidates must be comfortable with the use of xreferencing, plotting, etc\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Minimum 1\-2 years of experience drafting and production work using AutoDesk Suite products\.
+ Associates Degree in Civil Technology or similar drafting program
+ Has the ability to generate new and modify existing CAD drawings using standard drafting techniques\.
+ Possesses basic and moderate CAD literacy with emphases on drafting, modifying, scaling and dimensioning commands\.
+ Understands the use and manipulation of universal coordinate systems, projections and coordinate conversions\.
+ Has thorough understanding and competency in xreferencing, model versus paper space setups, and managing viewports & layers\.
+ Must have proficient communication skills and the ability to effectively work with non\-CAD oriented staff\.
+ Able to work with and implement CAD standards\.
+ Able to produce finished drawings based on revisions/comments from project team or client\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Can read and understand basic site plans, drawings and details\.
+ Can work independently \(with technical guidance\) and as part of a multidisciplinary team\.
+ Comfortable working in a fast paced multi\-tasking environment\.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft office suite\.
+ Experience with AutoCAD Version 2013 or later
