(CAN-AB-Wabasca) Quality Inspector, Senior, Mechanical/Piping - TCPL Woodenhouse

**Position Summary:** The Senior Quality Control Inspector uses the applicable procedures, codes and standards to perfrom quality inspections and tests on the applicable discipline to determine the acceptability of the work\. The QC Inspector ensures the contracted deliverables and quality standards are met through the audit process\. **Responsibilities:** •Review Quality components and drawings for completeness and correctness, and resolve any deficiencies with Work Face Planning \[WFP\] or Client •Perform Inspections, quality surveillances and ensure activities are completed as per the Inspection and Test Plan \[ITP\] and inter\-discipline release sequence •Ensure all test equipment \(related discipline\) are calibrated at the time of use, both internal and subcontractors •Assist Quality/Technical Services Lead in the development and support of the project's Key Performance Indicators \(KPIs\) including regular reporting to the Construction Management Team •Backfills the discipline Quality Lead/Coordinator position in their absence to lead inspectors within his/her discipline\. •Notify Witness and Hold points to the Client and Participate in Construction/QC Walk\-down \(Discipline\-specific\) •Assists in the development and implementation of the quality control protocol for the discipline quality team members\. •Identify and execute client quality deliverables per the project Construction Quality Plan\. •Ensures all required quality documents are compiled for turnover packages in order to meet project deadlines and schedules\. •Ensures the project quality inspection and test plan requirements are followed, signed\-off both internally and by the Client\. •Review the CWP, resolve any deficiencies and submit to Client’s Quality Assurance for review\. •Reviews the Construction Work Package \[CWP\] to fully understand the project deliverables, resolve any deficiencies, and submit to the client for review\. •Validate and sign off on work performed by the module assembly function \(if applicable\) •Oversee preservation activities in conjunction with construction personal •Direct final inspection and pre\-commissioning activities \(pipe alignment, lube flush etc\.\) •Minimum of 7\-10 experience required in the field of discipline within the Oil & Gas or Petrochecmical Construction industries\. •College degree/Diploma/Certified Engineering Technologist \[CET\] or Registered Engineering Technologist or equivalent Industry Experience •Professional designated preferred such as: •Journeyman millwright trade certification\. •API 510 and Valid Eye Test •C\.E\.T\. Certification \(or other engineering technical training\) an asset •Strong understanding of International Codes and Standards ASME B31\.1 & B31\.3, ASME I, II, V, VIII, IX, API 650/653, 686 •Experience with piping, rotating, non\-stationary and stationary equipment\. •Extensive field or module assembly inspection experience of boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, pumps etc\.
