More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line**  **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** The Archaeological Technician is primarily a field position and is engaged in archaeological and cultural resource projects throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties in California\. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1\. Conducts field work as assigned as part of a project\. 2\. Conducts and compiles background research\. 3\. Assists in the processing and analysis of historic and/or prehistoric artifacts\. 4\. Assists in writing regarding findings\. 5\. Assists in report preparation\. 6\. Assists in developing presentations for clients\. **Minimum Requirements** 1\. Bachelor's degree in anthropology/archaeology or a closely related field 2\. Requires a minimum of two years of archaeological field experience including reconnaissance, survey, testing and site mitigation in the western United States, California preferred 3\.A minimum of one year of experience in archaeological monitoring is preferred\. 4\.Experience conducting specialized artifact analysis preferred\. 5\. Must be willing to travel locally to conduct field work\. 6\.
