This certification program is a series of learning modules and is available on-line through the AECOM Learning Management System at no financial cost to the employee • Ability to read and understand PFDs, P&IDs, pipeline alignment sheets, and detailed design drawings • Ability to prepare construction bid packages • Knowledge of pipeline and equipment safety requirements including hazards, OSHA and general PSM requirements • Ability to read and understand PFDs, P&IDs, pipeline alignment sheets, and detailed design drawings • Ability to prepare construction bid packages • Proven leadership ability, communications skills, interpersonal skills, and sound judgment • Computer skills, specifically the ability to use Microsoft® Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, well-organized, self-motivated, ability to give professional presentations, and work well in a team environment • Ability to travel • Ability to interface with clients is a plus • Valid Driver’s License Job Description: The Oil & Gas Division of AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior Pipeline Project Manager for immediate employment in the Houston, TX office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: • Coordinate the development of cost estimates and schedules for FEED / FEL studies, detailed design, procurement, fabrication, and/or construction of complete FERC and non-regulated pipelines and/or pipeline facilities for Oil & Gas industry clients • Coordinate technical portions of project teams, providing leadership to engineers and designers • Coordinate between design teams and personnel in procurement, fabrication, construction, inspection, and start-up • Assist the Project Manager with project initiation documents, including project execution plans • Coordinate pipeline route selection, including route analysis, crossing selection and design, alignment sheets creation, HDD calculations and design, class location documentation, hydraulic analysis and modeling • Coordinate facility layout and scope to achieve the best technical and cost position for URS’s customers • Develop pipe specifications in compliance with DOT 49CFR Parts 192 and 195, ASME B31.4 and B31.8, and ANSI standards; perform pipe sizing; and develop coating specifications • Possess working knowledge of API standards, GPA standards, and NFPA 30 • Coordinate completion of calculations, datasheets, specifications and selection of: valves, equipment, tanks, vessels, pig launchers/receivers, pumps, compressors, and skid mounted systems • Coordinate bid evaluations for equipment and materials procurement, fabrication, and construction • Monitor and provide input to project progress reports (cost and schedule tracking, progress against plan, projected completion, problem and solution remedies) • Coordinate completion of other project documentation including: PFDs, P&IDs, bills of material, facility plot plans, and detailed discipline drawings • Coordinate constructability reviews, including an understanding of construction requirements for HDD and other crossing types, skid placement, buildings, and structures • Coordinate development of SPCC plans, permit checklists, geotechnical work scopes, construction work scopes, environmental scopes, and other permitting requirements • Recognize and coordinate changes to engineering scope, ensuring that PM receives written client approval on all changes before proceeding with work • Coordinate solutions to engineering and design issues, including facilitation of inter-discipline problem resolution • Track and ensure that historical design and master record files are maintained • Document decisions made through project life cycle • Create hydrostatic test and pipeline integrity test plans • Implement integrated communications strategies, including interfacing with client and subcontractors • May be called on to participate in the inspection of piping, compressor skids, main-line pumps, prefabricated equipment modules, tanks, vessels, and on-site construction • May assist with commissioning and start-up teams AECOM is a premier, fully integrated professional and technical services firm positioned to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets around the world for public- and private-sector clients.
