AECOM Government Services supports the U\.S\. federal government with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\.
**Job Summary** AECOM is looking for a **Project Planner** in Afghanistan on the MOSC\-A contract\. The Planner develops detailed task lists and work effort assessment as well as short and long\-term resource allocation plans\. Prepares long range calendar and planning efforts consisting of 30, 60, 90 and 120 Days\. Coordinates and receives Program Orders \(OPORDs\), FRAGOs and Letters of Technical Direction from Program Operations and helps to create Project OPORDs and FRAGOs\. Develops projections of requirements of the work force for the next 30, 60 and 90 days\. Prepares daily operational reports to include internal and external taskers, weekly CDRL, maintenance, man\-hour allocation and logistics reports for the US Military and Company\. Proactively develops and/or identifies changes in work scope and ensures appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to assess, reassess, and amend scope of work responsibilities\. Interfaces with senior government officials and other contractor elements to ensure smooth operations and compliance with government directives, standards, and needs of the USG\. Assists in establishing, updating and maintaining department files IAW Government regulations and Standard Operating Procedures\. Processes, distributes and safeguards confidential and sensitive documents\. Assists in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and training plans\. Writes, issues, and tracks all internal and external taskers\. Performs other duties as assign\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High School Diploma required\.
+ 3\-4 years of experience in project planning or operations required\.
+ Must have active Secret clearance\.
+ Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills to include a professional demeanor\.
+ Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation and intermediate math skills\.
+ Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook as well as other related applications\.
+ Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work and communicate with others effectively\.
+ Driver’s license may be required\.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Degree in Business Management, Project Management or related field preferred\.
+ Battle Staff Course or experience in a headquarters military staff preferred\.
+ Former military project management or contract experience preferred\.
