**About the Business Line** **Government**
AECOM’s Global Support Services \(GSS\) organization resides within AECOM’s Government business line and is comprised of three divisions — International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs\. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\.
**Job Summary** Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications\. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities\. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies\. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design and technology\. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations\. Develops technical documentation\. Develops system architecture and system design documentation\. Guides system development and implantation planning through assessment or predations of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans\. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts\. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility\. Communicates with other program personnel, government oversees, and senior executives\.
**Minimum Requirements** The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in human factors engineering and how various computer interfaces make good use of space and create an intuitive look and feel\. The candidate will also be able to design such interfaces\. The analysis of alternatives on tools like Palantir, Scribblers, Midmapping, Scrapple, InFolio, will take into account the way the analyst job is done and how, or if, the tools all fit together\. This is broad based analysis, using various data sources including unstructured reports and structuring something out if it, MDR1, MDR2, MDR3, and enrichment services like TKB or CyberLYNX\. The successful candidate will need to understand analyst trade craft \- finding common themes and answering lots of needs with a single environment\.
Required Skills:
+ Systems engineering experience on programs that encompassed systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into operation
+ Experience in performing trade studies and analysis
+ Experience with Knowledge Management tools and applications
+ General understanding of Application Program Interface \(APIs\)
+ Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required\. Technical Certification as a Certified System Engineering Professional \(CSEP\) from INCOSE or DAWIA SPRDE Level 3 is required\.
+ Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI w Poly
+ Bachelor’s of Science from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related field is required\. Five years additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree\.

Prior development experience is a plus
