We support our employees globally by coordinating and managing the day\-to\-day operations of General Accounting, Human Resources, Administration, Marketing and Information Technology\. **Job Summary**
+ Report to Vice President of **Safety, Health & Environment, Middle East, Africa & India**
+ Develop, implement, monitor and review AECOM’s management systems to continually improve safety and environmental performance both within the workplace and through the services AECOM provide to clients\.
+ Assist Project Managers with completion of SH&E components in proposals, tenders, bids and project plans\.
+ Develop and monitor effective risk assessment strategies and make recommendations on the implementation of these strategies\.
+ Ensure incidents, accidents and near\-misses are reported immediately and formally investigated and maintain the records of the investigations\.
+ Ensure contractors and sub contractors working for AECOM meet the company’s Safety and Environment Management Standards and India legislation\.
+ Responsible for leadership and development of professional SH&E staff ensuring all SH&E programs, practices and controls are effectively implemented
+ Interacting with Operations to implement systems in order to ensure compliance and conformance to EHS Policies, Management Systems, and Legislation\.
+ Assessing operations workflow and determining what best practices are necessary to keep employees safe on the job\. Details procedures for potentially dangerous tasks, so that employees know how to do their jobs with the least risk of injury
**Location** : Gurgaon, India
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor Degree in Engineering, professional qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety / Industrial Safety / Environmental Engineering related programs
+ Proficiency in OHSAS 18001: 2007 and ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008 \(Quality Management System Environmental Impact Assessment
+ Working knowledge in Industrial and Fire Safety Management\.
+ HAZOP studies – Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Techniques\.
+ Strong knowledge in local statutory and legal EHS requirements\.
**Preferred Qualifications** Experience as SHE lead at Corporate level in consulting/ construction engineering industry is preferred
