GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere\. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world\. GSS supports the U\.S\. Government, non\-U\.S\. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support\. **Job Summary** The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing the Logistics function within AECOM in support of the FS O&M contract\. The Logistics function aims to support the contract by developing close relations to those suppliers who add value throughout the supply chain\. Within the logistics area, the focus is on supply chain management and adopting best practices\. The intention is to strengthen the service and quality level towards the customer through increased efficiency in a cost effective and quality assured manner\. As the Logistics Supervisor, one is to: + Manage all logistics functions\. + Oversee the entire process, including purchasing, receiving, inventory control and distribution\. + Management of the Logistics function includes managing personnel responsible for purchasing supplies and materials, coordinating supply operations, inventory management, warehouse management and disposal of assets\. Logistics personnel duties include, but are not limited to, keeping property books, conducting inventory, supporting facility maintenance issues, picking up and delivering assets to and from designated locations for maintenance or shipping, and issuing materials\. + Responsible for making sure that each step of the process is being performed in accordance with regulations, company policies and procedures, and the customer’s requirements\. + Liaise with program management and department heads to determine procurement needs and appropriate delivery schedules\. + Liaise with the quality assurance team to arrange for routine quality control/quality assurance inspections\. + Interact with senior leaders and will serve as the central clearing house for all purchasing and logistical support for the contract\. + Manage reports on GFE utilization, system performance, and inventory history\. + In conjunction with the client provide oversight in the management of the contract’s vehicle program\. + Responsible for management and distribution of pagers and other issued equipment as assigned\. **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, or a closely related field + 5 years’ experience in a management\-level position of responsibility and complexity similar to the size of the current contract + Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language\. + Must be a U\.S\.
