We pride ourselves on ensuring we deliver the best customer service possible to our people while building trust and relationships with all of our constituents\. **Job Summary** We are currently recruiting for two experienced Accounts Payable Clerks to join our well\-established and experienced Finance team in our centrally located St\. Albans office\. The roles are offered initially on a 6 month FTC\. As an Accounts Payable Clerk you main responsibilities will include: •  Invoice Processing – Manage effectively all aspects of invoice coding through to approval for the AECOM UK / Ireland business\. •  Disbursements \- Manage effectively all aspects of outgoing cash for the European Geography, e\.g\. weekly supplier and employee expense payment runs, one off payments, foreign payments from payment processing to reconciliation\. •  Ledger Management – Daily control of supplier ledger accounts ensuring accuracy of balances through regular supplier statement reconciliations, debit balance reviews and appropriate payment categorisation\. •  Internal / External Vendor Relationship Management – Respond and manage day to day communication with internal and external vendors ensuring timely resolution to queries including management of the Markview Queues\. •  Scanning – Must be able to undertake scanning activities as part of continuity planning\. •  SOX – Ensure compliance with SOX Internal Controls regime including periodic self\-testing •  Internal SLA’s \- Establish Service Level Agreements with Internal clients and adherence to deadlines including KPI metrics reporting\. •  Process Improvement – Initiate process improvement and quality reviews with a primary aim being improve cash flow and best practice\. •  AP Queries – Must have demonstrable ability to effectively mediate with Internal and External client vendors with regards to queries and extended payment term issues, including petty cash management and reconciliation\. **Minimum Requirements** •  Educated to GCSE level or equivalent as a minimum with Maths and English at Grade C or above\. •  Computer literate with Excel and Outlook\. •  Experience in finance and Purchase to Pay process matters\. •  Experience of Oracle systems preferred but not necessary\. •  Familiarity with PO systems desirable but not essential\. •  Must be flexible and adaptable to change/deadlines\. •  Good communication skills and polite telephone manner\. •  Good attention to detail and organisational skills\. **Preferred Qualifications** As above\. **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
