**Job Summary** The Design & Consulting Services Division is actively seeking an experienced Data Entry Technician with excellent data entry, communication, and analytical skills for immediate employment to work onsite at the Naval facility in the China Lake/Ridgecrest, CA area \(Liberty Station or MCRD area\)\. The appropriately qualified candidate will report to the AECOM La Jolla office working on this Navy project, and potentially similar tasks or projects involving environmental and industrial hygiene data entry, analysis, and support activities\.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those stated below:
+ Complete government SF\-86 security application, obtain, and maintain Secret government clearance and DoD Common Access Card \(CAC\) necessary for viewing and entering data to Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System \- Industrial Hygiene \(DOEHRS\-IH\)
+ Complete necessary training and prerequisites to access DOEHRS\-IH
+ Enter industrial hygiene data into DOEHRS\-IH via a web\-based interface onsite at the Naval Health Clinic at China Lake/Ridgecrest and/or from AECOM offices
+ Organize IH reports, field forms, data, and related documents in support of transcription and entry into DOEHRS\-IH
+ Work interactively with CIH, IH SME, and IH Tech in support of data entry, organization, and other data\-oriented tasks
+ Ability to transcribe and enter data based on paper and electronic source materials with input and technical direction from Certified Industrial Hygienist \(CIH\) Program Manager, IH subject matter experts \(SME\) and technicians
**Minimum Requirements**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Proficient with personal computers, MS Office Suite software products \(e\.g\., Word, Excel, and/or Access\), windows computer operating system/applications, and web\-based tools and interfaces
+ Ability to perform complex data entry tasks in a web\-based environment with multiple data entry screens and drill\-down relationships between screens
+ Minimum two years data entry experience with technical data
+ Qualified applicants who are offered a position must have the ability to obtain a government “Secret” level security clearance
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience working with the military is preferred
+ Experience with data entry involving engineering, scientific, industrial hygiene \(IH\), environmental, analytical chemistry, or equivalent disciplines is preferred
