Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design\. **Job Summary**
+ Lead the preparation of deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and cost estimates related to plumbing systems for institutional, commercial and governmental facilities
+ Deliver complete, accurate and coordinated project design assignments within time and budget parameters while satisfying client contractual obligations\.
+ Perform field investigation for incorporation of existing conditions into construction documents\.
+ Perform construction administration duties, such as shop drawing review, RFI responses, construction inspections, and responding to client requests\.
+ Work within a project team environment\.
+ Maintain and organize all project related documentation\.
+ Coordinate work with other project disciplines\.
+ While work follows a defined process and precedents have been set, incumbents are expected to plan and organize work in best sequence\.
+ Work independently and make technical decisions based on building code interpretation as well as company, client and industry standard practices\.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Experience leading the preparation of deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and cost estimates related to plumbing systems for institutional, commercial and governmental facilities
+ Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit
+ Experience with an engineering firm designing plumbing systems for institutional, commercial and governmental including healthcare and life sciences \(lab\) facilities
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Ten or more years of experience with an engineering firm designing plumbing systems for institutional, commercial and governmental including healthcare and life sciences \(lab\) facilities
+ Certified in Plumbing Design credential\.
+ The ability to work with, interpret, and apply national and local building codes\.
+ Proficient in the use of computers for making engineering calculations, spreadsheets, and report writing\.
+ Strong written communication, presentation, and client interface skills\.
+ Ability to take responsibility for given tasks with limited supervision while proactively developing standard practices and new techniques\.
