More information on AECOM and its services can be found at www\.aecom\.com\. **About the Business Line** **Environment** Our team of environment specialists offers clients expertise in air quality, impact analysis and permitting, environmental health and safety management consulting/due diligence, remediation consulting/engineering and construction/site restoration, specialty and emerging technologies, waste services and water and natural resources\. **Job Summary** AECOM are seeking a Environmental Engineer to join the team in Abu Dhabi\. This role will contribute to a variety of environmental projects and take ownership of the technical delivery of the assigned tasks\. The types of project work will include but not limited to Environmental Impact Assessments \(EIAs\), Environmental Management Plans \(EMPs\), Phase 1 and 2 Environmental Site Assessments \(ESA\), Waste Management Plans \(WMP\), conduct field surveys, environmental monitoring and site investigations, and environmental due diligence assessments\. This position is accountable for providing independent task execution, analysis and reporting for specific disciplines under general direction\. The individual will research and solve technical problems in accordance with accepted practice/methodology and report on results\. **Duties & Responsibilities** + Assist in the preparation of environmental reports including EIA and EMP reports\. + Assist in the preparation of pre\-tender documents, proposals and other business development materials\. + Assist in the preparation of company registrations and applications for environmental services\. + Assist Project Managers in the execution of EIA/environmental projects by undertaking field work, preparing reports, performing research, compiling data, etc\. + Assist Project Managers in performing specific project controls related tasks, as per each project’s requirements\. + Assist Project Managers in developing sub\-contractors’ terms of reference \(TOR\) which are specific to the project requirements\. + Work in a safe and responsible manner both in the office and in the field and supervise the H&S performance of subcontractors in the field\. + Perform project management tasks as per AECOM’s policies expected for this level of position\. + Communicate effectively both through written reports and oral discussions\. + Provide technical input to a variety of projects within a specific discipline\. + Maintain suitable level of billable utilization consistent with company guidelines for this level of position\. **Minimum Requirements** The ideal candidate must have a MSc or BSc in Environmental Science or closely related discipline, and also be technically proficient in a relevant scientific or engineering area or discipline\. **Preferred Qualifications** The successful candidate will be experienced in performing environmental projects or a specific discipline\. **What We Offer** AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people\.
