Requisition Number: FS104592 Interest Category: Business Operations/Admin/IT Interest Sub Category: Information Technology Job Title : Help Desk Specialist (Journeyman) Employment Category/Status: full-time Type of Position: Regular Hire Country: U.S. State: District of Columbia City: Washington Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years experience or equivalent or combination of education, certifications and specialized industry experience (subject to the Government Contracting Officer granting a waiver) Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with occasional over time and weekend work Other required experience: • Experience performing system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting on Windows 7 and related technologies. • Experience utilizing remote access utilities and troubleshooting Citrix issues for remote laptop users. It is highly desirable that candidates have: • Experience with Active Directory, VPN, and RSA. • Experience with Blackberry • Familiarity with Apple products (MAC, iPad, iPhone) " U.S. Citizen or have legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship (Agency check will be required for this position) May be required to work evenings and weekends. Participation in a 24x7 on call rotation may be required. May be required to travel to SEC locations and data centers (<10% travel required) Job Description: AECOM is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C.! Essential Responsbilities: • Provide telephone support to the end-user community with a focus on excellent customer service and first call resolution, in a helpdesk (service desk) environment. • Work with Deskside, Tier3, and other groups to resolve technical problems, while taking ownership of the incident. • Responsible for receiving, updating, assigning, and resolving trouble tickets. • Provide remote access support and troubleshooting of Citrix, VPN, and Wireless technologies. • Provide advanced technical support of PC and related systems utilized by the SEC (Windows 7, network connectivity, printing, software, etc.) • Participate in testing and piloting initiatives.
